KL Trip 2015

Another throwback for  KL trip September last year!

I just randomly decided flew to KL for 4 days 3 nights because le boyfie told me that he had an IET meeting that week. Since I only have two days class in a week and the timing was so fitting for me to have a short trip so KL here I come! XD

Initially, my flight was on Thursday evening but it was delayed twice due to poor runway visibility. At that time, Kuching was having heavy haze caused by Indonesia from the open burning activities. I had never experienced for a flight that delays twice and it was my first time stay at the airport from evening until midnight! I do understand this is an emergency delay that why the airport didn't notice us early. Keeping  a positive mindset really calms me down, and the management did provide us a complimentary supper from McD and lucky that they did because I didn't had my lunch properly, and thought can have my dinner at KL. 

Why I called it supper because they gave us around 10 pm something. You might wonder why I didn't have my dinner while I was waiting. At first my flight was rescheduled to 7:30 pm so I'm thinking I might as well have my dinner at KL. I was happily waiting in the new boarding room but they rescheduled it again to 11:59 pm. Don't ask me why but I still can remember the time because it was so weird. 11:59pm?! I didn't know got such time for a flight and bad news is the flight wasn't come on 11:59 pm but 12:30 am! =.= The boarding room was freaking cold and this makes me lose my appetite.

When I decided to have a coffee to warm my body and the shop was closed! I was surprised that Coffee Bean in Kuching Airport closed so early! It was only 10 pm and they decided to close it.......=.=  Oh well! The sad thing is I wore short pant and sleeveless shirt and didn't bring any long pant with me. T.T Who know they rescheduled the flight to midnight arr! Thought afternoon flight the weather was hot that's why I choose to wear sleeveless. Regret dieee T.T

My friends were so worried and keep told me if the flight was canceled, just give them a call and they will pick me back. Just want to say thanks to them and accompany me whole night until I flew off. ^^

Finally touched down in KL and it was about 2:30 am. Took a cab alone to the hotel for the first time in the midnight and, to be honest, I did felt scared. XD Luckily the taxi driver is a Chinese and he did try to have a conversation with me. Too bad I can't chat too much with him because I was already in a low bat situation. Haha. Yea, I arrived in hotel about 3am and finally met my boyfie.  SO that basically sum up my first day.

DAY 2

We decided to wake up late because of the tiredness last night we had. Finally went out to had our breakfast around 1130am. XD

Simply went to a Mamak shop and had our simple breakfast.

Head to Berjaya Time Square after done our breakfast.

Play the piano staircase like a kid XD

Since I haven't tried the Nando's so boyfie decided to have our lunch here.

Basically, their main dish is chicken and the main attraction for this shop is their various special spices and sauce.

I thought the chicken will be very spicy so I decided to have normal for my first try.

Boyfie's Mild spicy chicken

Tried his mild chicken and found out it wasn't spicy to me although it consider spicy compared to my lemon & herb chicken.

The conclusion is I gonna try their hot & spicy chicken for my next visit. XD

Had this Japanese dinner set as our dinner at Ichiban Boshi

 I was craving for cheesecake after back to the hotel so we went to the dessert shop nearby our hotel.

Too bad this shop doesn't have any cake so we ordered lemon and dark chocolate bingsu. The taste still acceptable for me. XD

My craving was satisfied by this marble cheesecake and ice chocolate.

Thanks my dear for satisfying my wayward request. XD

DAY 3

Boyfie has a meeting in the afternoon and I need to meet my pretty girl -- Vincci so we have chosen One Utama Mall as our meeting point and I could go for some shopping  and food hunting. XD

We went to Dragon-i because we want to have some Hong Kong styled breakfast.

I was so happy because the breakfast all taste delicious for me.

Met with this girl after I done my breakfast. She bought me to Empire Damansara to have lunch and dessert. The place has nice views and good food and Vincci told me that night view here would be much nicer and romantic. XD

We went to Thai Boat Noodle and, as usual, full of people. Luckily the queue wasn't that long and the taste actually not much different compared to Kuching one.

We didn't order much for the noodle because the need to reserve our stomach for dessert. Heh.

 Haraju-cube here we come. Vincci recommended this place and it's really nice. And yes, long queue again. Lol. This place was quite famous so can say long queue every day. Queuing for some time helps us to digest our lunch. * Looking at the bright side *

Finally, it's our turn. Yayy!!

I'm so in love with this milk and would come back again next time for sure!

The topping was good except the crust was a bit hard.

Next stop to Mid Valley Megamall for Magnum Ice-cream.

I always wanted to try the magnum ice-cream at Magnum Cafe and finally, this time, I got the chance. Thank you Vincci for brought me there. =D 

The queue wasn't that crazy as compared to their first launching but still I queue for some time.

I decided to customize the ice- cream so need to go through four steps: Coating, Topping, Drizzling, and Setting. 

I chose chocolate brownie as my base and coat it with dark chocolate while topping is dried fruit, chocolate crunch pearls and almonds and white chocolate drizzle.

Tata! My customized Magnum Ice cream RM9.90 =P

Head back to One Utama again to meet Susan Sia for dinner.

Decided to have second round because we met Daniel Sineros and Zhe Yii. We went to Puchong and I actually forgot the name so Puchong it is. HAHA

Stopped by 3 Wise Monkeys Bistro & Bar and have our chilling session. 

DAY 4

Here come to my last day in KL and unfortunately, I fall sick due to heavy haze so was feeling uncomfortable all the time. T.T

Subway as our breakfast but we only bought one and share it because we gonna meet Vincci at Klang and have lunch together before we fly off.

Speical thanks to Vincci for introduced us the super crispy duck. OMG! I really really really love it and so far that's the best duck I had *touched*

Here is the picture of the super delicious duck in Klang.
It tastes like roast suckling pig, I mean for the skin. 

The duck was so crispy and juice. 

Definitely want to have it again in future.
